Description : Brunello di Montalcino Pian delle Vigne - Antinori
The end of winter and the beginning of spring have been tempered and very dry. This has encouraged budding a fairly early (about 10 days compared to the average). In April, the temperatures are lowered, causing stunted growth of shoots. The summer was warm and sunny climate and this trend continued throughout the month of September and for the duration of harvesting, thereby gather grapes with high sugar concentration and exceptionally healthy. 97 The harvest was more limited than expected but should be considered from the point of view, an exceptional year, probably more than 1990 and thus among the best in the last fifty years. Deep ruby color with garnet, the flavor is full and complex with floral notes, vanilla and cocoa. The taste is structured, full, soft and velvety. The wine is balanced and has a very persistent finish. |
