Description : Aglianico Irpinia Serpico - Feudi di San Gregorio
Produced from grapes Aglianico, Piedirosso, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. After a long maceration at controlled temperature, once completed malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred into new French oak barriques and then aged in bottle for at least 6 months. Serpico has a deep ruby red color, intense and persistent with notes that evoke the cherry, black cherry, toasted wood and vanilla. The taste is soft, with well-blended tannins, good concentration and high volume. Has excellent aromatic persistence with a pleasant finish of red fruits of the forest on a well-rendered background aromas of toasted wood, spice and vanilla. |
