Description : Aglianico Cesco di Nece - Mustilli
Il Cesco di Nece Sant'agata De' Goti DOC Mustilli has ruby color with garnet up to buy orange hues with aging. Has dry, almost dry, great body with whip balance (especially youth) and end fabric. NOSE: typical reminiscent of violets and cherries jam that with the aging buy spicy edetate. Intense, persistent, fine, gentian violet and notations are the attack, later developed the deep aroma of overripe plum and those of licorice and black pepper. PALATE: dry, tangy, tannic, warm and full bodied, quite soft. We confirm the notes of the nose, with enrichment of the rich floral notes, violets and wisteria and appear a hint of dried fruit . Savory, with no expression of angularity to its maturity. The grape is grown in estate vineyards in the district of Cesco di Nece in Sant'Agata dei Goti. It is selected and harvested by hand. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels and lasts 3 weeks, fermentation usually follows immediately after the spring. Maturation takes place in barrels of French oak and chestnut for about 18 months followed by an aging in bottle for at least 6 months. The recommended serving temperature is 18 °, we recommend the combination with preparations of red meat, aged cheeses, cured meats. |
