2001 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Grapes used 100% Sangiovese Course Seasonal The year was marked by a strong spring frost, which has greatly reduced the production. As always, the heat has occurred particularly in late July, however, unlike the previous year, it was an appearance sufficiently gradual so as to allow the plants a good fit. The conditions during the collection have been optimal. Heckling winemaker: Thanks to the reduction in production caused by the frost in spring, 2001 is very unusual vintage elegance, great concentration. Comments Organoleptic: Color deep and intense. The scent, thanks to the presence of soft wood, is gentle, well blended with the fruity notes. The mouth is full, velvety, with soft tannins and silky. In the finale is very persistent, suitable for long aging. |
