Chianti, with Merlot Avignonesi of Montepulciano. For the occasion, Capannelle offers until 15 December a special en-primeur sales that allows you to buy bottles preview. The idea of 50 & 50 born in 1988, following an extraordinary harvest, and thanks to the innovative intuition to want to combine Sangiovese Capannelle and Merlot grown and produced in Tuscany. On these assumptions are based joint-venture between the Company Avignonesi and Capannelle, who, after 20 years, is the longest collaboration between two Italian wineries currently on the market. Aged in barrels for at least 18 months in bottle and aged for 12 months, 50 & 50 is available in 750 ml bottles and magnums 3 and 6 liters. Intense ruby red color with garnet, 50 & 50 is characterized by an intense and persistent fragrance. Aromas of vanilla, tobacco, coffee and red fruits, floral notes as well as cherry, myrtle and strawberry are the hints that you feel this great tasting product. Suitable for matching with meat dishes, roast venison, venison, cheese, dried, strong and tasty, is also an excellent meditation wine. Product of high quality, available in only 20,000 bottles a year, distributed equally between the two wineries, 50 & 50 is a wine that boasts a large number of admirers.
