This wine is the result of twenty years of research on the Sangiovese Banfi Brunello. All the grapes come from vineyards planted at about ancient Castle of Poggio alle Mura, with a selection of clones of Sangiovese which help to give a wine with unique features for power and complexity. The Poggio alle Mura has a deep red color with garnet and aromas of violets, ripe red fruits, but also pipe tobacco, cedar and spices such as poppy seeds and cardamom. The final |
