History. The name is simple: Albarossa. But what is contained in it is so. Lot, if you think that history began in 1938. C is the chance of a bet, the strength of tradition, knowledge, donated by time, the imagination of man, the uniqueness of the territory ... and c is above all a story worth telling. Over 30 years, Prof. Giovanni Dalmasso, one of the most authoritative ampelographers that Italy has ever had, from whose case studies were the first scientific contribution to the drafting of specifications for the production of DOC wines and DOCG varietal made a series of crosses that were stored in a collection of wine-growing region of Piedmont and never made dimora.Una fifty years later, however, prof. Mannini of C.N.R. in Turin, decided to look closely at these intersections, implanted into the Tenuta Cannon, experimental center wine of Piedmont.
