Description : Breg Anfora - Josko Gravner
Josko Gravner is without doubt one of the most radical wine producers on the Italian scene. The Philosophy is to interfere as little as possible on the growth of wine in an attempt to make the unbreakable bond with the land of origin, the choice is to not filter the wine, to avoid the use of fertilizers and chemical pesticides, focusing on an exasperated work in the vineyard and reducing to a minimum the addition of sulfur dioxide. In its continuous experimentation and research to produce wines that are as natural as possible, Gravner has phased out the use of wooden vats for maceration, now definitively replaced by terra-cotta amphorae from Georgia, buried in the cellar after the manner of the ancients Romans. Hence the Breg. From Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Riesling is a wine with intense amber color, the flavor is delicate and complex for Rich, released floral notes of bergamot and fruity, ripe apple and cedar. Wine from striking personality, rich with mineral notes, it is hot and long in the final. |
